Bhupalapally will get K’ram waters in Rainy season, vows Harish


Hyderabad Jan11 (): Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has said that Kaleshwaram waters will be released to Bhupalapally by next Rainy season as the related works are going on fast pace. The minister laid foundation and inspected canal modernization and repair works worth Rs 103 cr at the site at Regonda mandal as part of SRSP project. Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari, Minister E Rajender, Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary and others present. Addressing a meeting after laying foundation stone for DBM-38 canal modernisation the related works, he praised Srihari and other local leaders for showing great interest in development works. Harish claimed that the project will be completed in just 20 months against normal course of seven to eight years. He also noted that CWC team appreciated the Kaleshwaram project. He said that farm sector is getting 24 hour power supply free of cost and Rs 4000 per acre will be given to farmers towards investment. The minister said that Devadula waters will be given for second crop and fill up the lakes.

He alleged that the congress regime ignored the projects and farm sector which are now priority in the TRS Government. He also hoped that despite congress gimmicks the TRS will be in power for another 20 years.
