Delegates to taste plush Telangana feast
Arrangements for the five-days of World Telugu Conference in full swing and officials are busy to ensure that about 10,000 delegates and invitees get the taste of Telangana food items on the occasion. The event slated to be held from Dec 15 to 19 and the government is taking it a prestigious event with the success of previous GES 2017 program. Though 7920 delegates and invitees registered, about 10000 people expected to the event.
As part of arrangements and publicity officials are trying no stone unturned that the delegates and invitees enjoy the bliss of the world Telugu Conclave to witness wide gamut of cultural programs, workshops on Telugu poetry, literature, culture, traditions and stalls. Major attraction to mark the event will be enticing and yet colourful welcome hoardings and arches on the important roads, cross roads and junctions and erection of photographs of literary scholars, poets, language pundits and others who contributed to flourishing Telangana language and culture. The main venue LB Stadium is getting spruced up for inaugural and also valedictory on Dec 15 and 19.
Ravindra Bharathi, Telugu University Auditorium, Indira Priayadarshini Auditorium and other such places are also being ready for the historic conclave. The government has invited President Ramnath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Governors ESL Narasimhan, Ch Vidyasagar Rao, former Governor K Rosaiah and others. Telugu Chief Ministers K Chandra sekhar Rao, N Chandrababu Naidu and other delegates and invitees will attend.
Some of the lavish food items to be spread among the delegates and guests include – noted Hyderabad Biryani, Haleem, Ankapur chicken, raw chicken, ragi ambali, junnu, pachchipulusu annam, pundikura biryani, guthi vankaya kura, ragi sankati, sarva pindi, sakinalu, palli garelu, chegodilu, murukulu, nuvvula ariselu, murumural laddu and the list continues.
